---------YOUR TRAVEL GUIDE IN GREECE AND THE GREEK ISLANDS--------- |
|
Saint George beach in Naxos Town. The beach of St. George in Chora. The water is warm and the view really nice. You can swim, surf, play beach volley or simply have a drink and enjoy yourself. St. George, that was once a village neighboring to Chora, now is the central and most crowded beach of Naxos. On its sandy beach there are taverns, cafes and hotels. While swimming at the beach of Saint George you can see Stelida, overlooking Saint George from its one side and Agios Prokopis from the other. In Stelida you will find many hotels and studios. |

If while swimming you see a donkey with 2 large baskets passing by, don't be nervous. The owner is selling melons, watermelons and other fruit. He also loves to tease women when they are nude and alone, slightly of course!
