Ayiassos beach :

Location :
Ayiassos, 25 km from Naxos Town. Asphalt road till just before Alyko, then sandy road from Pyrgaki to the end, easily accessible by car or motorbike.

There are very few resorts, in the area.

There are few taverns in the area.

No bar and cafeterias in the area.

General characteristics :
Isolated beach that very few people choose, due to its distance. You will love the peace and tranquility of Ayiassos.

Apollonas beach :

Location :
Apollonas village, 54 km from Naxos Town. Asphalt road newly constructed to the very end.
Accommodation :
There are many hotels, studios and apartments in the area.
Restaurants :
There are taverns in the area, most of them on the beach. They serve a great variety of dishes for most tastes.
Bar - cafe :
You can enjoy your coffee at the bars and cafeterias on the beach or at any tavern of the village. Lovely cafe places.

General characteristics :
Apollonas village used to get very crowded for many years. It nowdays gathers visitors that stay at other places of the island but wish to see the famous Kouros of Apollonas.

What is most appealing is the way to Apollonas. It traverses the north-west coastline of Naxos and the view is really unique. However, you should be careful of that road, the turns are a bit dangerous (nothing much if you pay the slightest attension).

Moutsouna beach.

Location :
Moutsouna, 39 km from Naxos Town. Asphalt road till the end (constructed in 1999).
Accommodation :
There are some hotels, studios and apartments in the area.

There are taverns in the area.

You can enjoy your coffee or drink the cafeterias of Moutsouna.

A lovely but abandoned village, known for its port exporting emery in the old times.

Panormos is 56 km from Naxos Town.

Isolated sandy beach with fishing caiques. It is a lovely place to visit.

Kalandos beach :

Location :
Kalandos is 60 km from Naxos Town. Be prepared for an adventurous drive! Asphalt? What's this?

Isolated sandy beach with fishing caiques. Very romanting, as if from another world. No sign of civilization, which is why some people choose to go there at least once in their vacation days.
