Mikri Vigla Beach : 

Location :
Mikri Vigla, 18 km from Naxos Town. Asphalt road mostly, sandy road at the end for about 1 km, easily accessible by car or motorbike.

There are taverns in the area, most of them on the beach. They serve a great variety of dishes for most tastes.
Bar - cafe :
You can enjoy your coffee at any tavern of the area or at the hotels by their pool. There are no bars at Mikri Vigla.
Sports :
Surfing clubs in the area and surfing equippment rentals.Mikri Vigla beach is one of the most widely known surfing beaches in Cyclades.
General characteristics :
Excellent beach with pebbles at some parts and sand at some others. There are cedar trees as well.

The beach is very long and the water gets shallow at some parts and very deep at some others. The view is very appealing.

Mikri Vigla Beach.

Mikri Vigla beach has many resorts. Don't let that mislead you, it is not easy to find accommodation, since large groups have booked most rooms since winter time.

You should take that in mind and reserve your accommodation well ahead of others.

Most resorts have swimming pool and provide many facilities and very good service.

After the beach of Alyko lies the beach of Pyrgaki.
The area combines the beauty of the beach with the natural beauty of inland.

If you are romantic you will love this place. Not many people no noise no jet skis, etc... you also get to see the biggest part of the island and pass by many villages on your way to Pyrgaki.

Glyfada Beach.

Location :
Glyfada, 20 km from Naxos Town. Asphalt road mostly, sandy road at the end for about 200 m or more depending which part of the beach you will choose, very easily accessible by car or motorbike.

There are few hotels, studios and apartments at the area.
Restaurants :
There are also few taverns in the area, most of them on the beach.
Bar - cafe :
You can enjoy your coffee or drink at any tavern of the area or at the hotels. There are no bars at Glyfada.

No surfing clubs in the area and no surfing equippment rentals.
General characteristics :
All sandy beach with many cedar trees. Beside the beach there used to be a salt pan.

Glyfada is found between the beaches of Kastraki and Alyko. The view of the beach from Oskelos (a hill of 300 m height) is unique.

Alyko Beach :

Alyko, 21 km from Naxos Town. Asphalt road mostly, sandy road at the end for about 2 km or more depending which part of the beach you will choose, very easily accessible by car or motorbike.
Accommodation :
There are very few resorts in the area.
Restaurants :
There are also few taverns in the area, most of them far from the beach.
Bar - cafe :
You can enjoy your coffee or drink at any tavern of the area or at the hotels. There are no bars at Alyko. 
Sports :
No surfing clubs in the area and no surfing equippment rentals. Many surfers visit the beach, though.
General characteristics :
All sandy beach with many cedar trees.

The scenery is breathtaking, the sand suddenly ends and below, a wonderful beach is revealed.

You need to be a bit careful as you get down the beach, but there is also an easy way to get there.

Alyko, located in the southwest of Naxos, is approximately 21 km away from Chora.

It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Naxos, with white sand and a forest of cedar trees.
